About Us

Our journey began in 2019 with Alla, Walla, and Mohammad Awad, who committed themselves to creating meaningful events that unite communities and foster a sense of generosity and unity. Since then, our passion for organizing impactful events has only grown. We are dedicated to empowering the Muslim community both locally and globally through a variety of initiatives.

We host events that not only educate the community on contemporary topics in fun and interactive ways but also focus on youth empowerment and strengthening the Muslim community. Whether it's local projects like our Back to School event, which emphasized the importance of education and encouraged Muslims to embrace their identity, or rapid responses to global crises—such as organizing a large clothing drive at Masjid Omar Bin Abdul Aziz following the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria in February 2023—we are committed to making a difference.

From cultural workshops to community engagement challenges, we aim to inspire and bring together Muslims from all walks of life. Our mission at Hasana is to extend our passion for service and community building, fostering positive change and support for Muslims worldwide. We believe in the power of collective effort and are driven by the love, help, and support from our incredible community. Join us on this journey to empower and uplift Muslims together.

"My experience with the event was extremely positive. The organizers, Alla and Walla, genuinely focus on what the community needs to grow spiritually in today's world. The event felt like a big brother/little brother or big sister/little sister relationship. The kids received valuable advice on how to start their school year on the right foot, both from a religious perspective and in navigating the school year as stronger Muslims. The speakers were excellent, sharing experiences that I, as a parent, and my daughters could relate to. Most importantly, the kids love the organizers. Alla and Walla truly embody the Hasana slogan, 'Empower Locally, Uplift Globally.'"

    Asalamu alaikum brothers and sisters.

I just want to express my sincere appreciation for these two sisters Alla and Walla for the amazing fun filled and at the same time educational programmers they host at the masjid. Most importantly the back to school event that I had the privilege to attend was very educative for me. I learned about resources that I could use to help my daughter perform better at the school at the same time thrive in her deen. Alhamdulilah for all those refreshing events and ideas that these sisters share with us. I encourage everybody to please donate generously to their organization Hasana and we pray Allah (SWT) grant them good health and more ideas to share with the community and ummah at large. May Allah (SWT) reward everyone who donates generously.
